where does the time go? It is hard to believe he is 6 months old already...

back to work

Well Monday was the first day back to work.
Tons of prep for the kids who return next week!

Had our CPR and First Aid Certification on Tuesday...
Today and the rest of the week will be cleaning and making materials!

Hope to knit and post some of what I have been doing soon......

Fishing and Knitting!

Yesterday was so much fun! DH and I went to Harrison Lake State Park. DH fished and i sat in my chair and did some knittng. I did get to let dh know when he had a nibble. We or shall I say he didn't catch anything.. but it was fun and very relaxing..

When we got home in the late afternoon we finished another batch of Jalapeno Apple jelly. Now I need to purchase some more apples so we can make more..............

Thought I would share a picture of Gunner.. He is the sweetest dog.........We do not get to see him too often. Gunner lives with our son, daughter inlaw and our grandson.

vacation!

Vacation is 1/2 over and we went to see the kids and the grandbaby last weekend.. It is amazing how much he has grown since we last saw him. 5 months old already....

This is before we headed home.. We all met at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast~

I've been knitting the Kanoko baby pants. I've been trying to post a picture, but blogger is not letting me.. If interested this pattern can be found on ravelry.. It is a fun knit and I will definitely knit this again and again!

Have you ever asked yourself how you would or could accomplish all that you wanted?
Especially when.. you keep having to frog back?
Life seems to pass by quick enough without having to redo what you have already done
a Million times...

Vacation for 2 weeks, lots to accomplish, and then reality sets in................

Can time really slip by that quick?

I can not believe I have not blogged in over a month.. WOW!

Life gets hectic and then what happens.... I forget to do some very important things..

Where has this week gone?

Vacation is about done...

Good News.. I got a lot of work done

that I would not normally get to..

Painted the livingroom and cleaned it really well. The color is not as pretty in the picture as it is in person. I still need to hang the shades and get some curtains.. I would also love to get some stuff for the walls..

Everything looks so nice..

On the knitting front, not much progress..

Had to frog a sock I had been working on.

Have a baby sweater for charity that needs

buttons sewn on and mailed off..

HAPPY EASTER AIDAN!

Packed up Aidan's Easter box today...

DH mailed it and it should be there shortly..

MY Weekend!

Well dh and I went to see ds, dil and the baby! We had a great time in cinci..
While we were there we went to the IKEA store (our first time), Trader Joe's (wow what a grocery store), then we all went to Jungle Jim's, they have everything imaginable. Stuff from all over the world.. So as you can guess.. We will be going back to all three next time we visit!
