RHUBARB CUSTARD PIE

Here is my 100% Homemade "Rhubarb Custard Pie". DH was the one to roll out the crusts and I assembled all the rest.. I can't wait to sink my teeth into this pie!

BUSY WEEKEND!

This sure has been a busy weekend... Two (2) parties today, one (1) was a Graduation Party for our neighbor, and the other was a 2nd Birthday party for a dear friends daughter... Tomorrow will also be a busy day as we will be going to my brothers for Father's Day Celebration. First we will watch a Strawberry Festival parade... Always a blast, and then we will be eating some yummy foods... I am in charge of desserts this year, which will consist of Rhubarb Custard Pies, and some yummy Double Chocolate Brownies.. When the pies are done I just might post a picture.. I find not many, cook from scratch these days, and I absolutely love making pie crusts and other foods which bring back fond memories....

On the knitting front, I am ready for the heel flap on my Menehune socks, just waiting for the directions, or shall I say for lesson 2, as this is my first time doing 2 socks on 1 circular...

I'm finally learning how to magic loop two ( 2 )socks on one (1) Circular.. I am loving this way of knitting socks.. As you can see I am not too far into the project, but... I feel as though this is going to be so fun!
The sock I'm knitting is Menehune Cobblestones,
I'm doing a Kal with ,For the love of socks, a yahoo group.
I am planning on knitting this again in the Panda yarn, either cotton or wool...
I'll keep you posted...
